Happy Birthday Jean!

We would like to greet Ms. Jean Endaya (though this is way delayed) a happy birthday! Jean is actually the mother of the cute little boy Andre, whom we had the privilege of catering during his birthday celebration at Moontoon.

We at Artscooking were very glad for having been given a chance to enhance her celebration by ordering one of our finests menu. We can really tell this woman has excellent taste. Cheers!

Iftar Party 2

Convenience or what?

We can't really be sure. But we know one thing: we were once again asked to cater to the Second Iftar Party for the whole Pinoy staff of Unidecor Contracting last September 20. Again, we were side by side with other foreign professional caterers which by our measure, we feel honored even just to be with, and so humbled, at the same time.

Nevertheless, catering is all about good food and enjoyment to our kababayan's delight. And that second chance proved we were able to deliver. To quote Jim Carrey in his movie 'The Mask', "now that's what we call... smokin!"

Cheers!

Here's Artscooking menu during the occasion: Pechos, Lumpiang Shanghai, Beel Caldereta, Chinese Fried Rice, Chicken Mongolian, Buko Pandan.

Marriage Encounter

To nurture and support the marriage of a man and a woman and their family life by offering an opportunity to experience a deep and loving communication with each other and with God.

By exchanging feelings through dialogue between couples, each personhood is given to his/her respective spouse so that they can experience moments of unity, with the same feeling of the same degree.

This is the purpose of holding Marriage Encounter which has become an annual and major event for SKKP. Held at Obhur last September 3-4, the participants, married couples, were given the chance to fill the necessities to grow together in the belief that future transformation of the world begins at the heart of the family ~ the couple.

Iftar Party

We catered to a group of Filipinos last September 5 at Unidecor Company on the occasion of its annual Iftar Party. We were side by side with another caterer to serve other nationalities. We just couldn't help but smile at the thought that we don't do bad at all compared to our Indian counterpart.

Chennai is an Indian professional caterer based in Al Azizia Jeddah. They had everything coming from shelfing dish to mantle & skirting. The menu looked good too. We tried to take a pix of their food, pero we were not allowed, for whatever reason. What we have is some-meters-away-shots from where they set-up. Anyways, lamang lang Artscooking that time 'coz we had real china plates and stainless spoon and fork, gamit nila disposables.

Cheers!

Happy Birthday Ann Lorienne

It all started from this house. Our very first catering gig in Jeddah. We can say it is that lady of the house, Lorie, who played as our business angel for she's the first who believed in us and gave us that necessary break.

It happened when she let us cook for her eldest daughter Leanne. Then a year after, during the christening of this pretty baby Lorienne . And this year, Lorienne's very first birthday.

In addition, we also served during Karate exhibition and competion, of which Jun, the husband, plays a very important role.

It is like saying Artscooking had been a part of the most significant celebrations of this family's life in Jeddah, and grateful may not suffice enough how we feel for them.

So, sa next baby, kami ulet ha. Look oh, Lorienne is so happy with the thought. Wink! wink!

In addition to skirting, we now also set-up balloons such as the one you see in this picture.
